Gods of Egypt Reboot: Alexandra Daddario as Nephthys and Eva Green as Hator

The Gods of Egypt flopped big time in the  box office for  2 reasons: lousy script and undesirable Hathor.

The issue of race, being an all white cast is an alibi. Elizabeth Taylor got away with it with Cleopatra.

LOUSY SCRIPT:
The lines where simply not in keeping with the times and the roles projected.
The words and lines uttered were sooo 2016.  Not the kind of script that will captivate your imagination. Some lines were even trashy.

Nephthys' role should have been given more attention to play up the jealousy and competition between Set and Horus. Alexandra Daddario could have easily given the role of Nephthys - justice and bankability. Her fighting skills in  Percy Jackson movies will come in handy.

UNDESIRABLE HATHOR:
No offense to Elodie Yung...but she didn't lived to the expectations of being the Goddess of Love. The captivating Miss Eva Green could have played the role and brought the screen scorching with desirability for Set to give in to spare the life of Horus - the one God that stood in his way to the crown. Her sultry-ness will keep all eyes glued to the screens. Even with the lousy lines...she could have gotten away with it.

Miss Elodie Yung was simply out of place in this movie.
